How to permanently show the Location Entry in the Title Bar with Nautilus in Ubuntu 10.10

Press ALT+F2 together on your Keyboard then type gconf-editor and click Run

On the left hand side of the window expand apps->nautilus->preferences check the checkbox next to always_use_location_entry and close the window.

When you open Nautilus, the location entry will always be visible
